Microwave Air Fryer Combo

About us

How We Compare Microwave Air Fryer Combos

We don't test microwave air fryer combos ourselves, in a lab or anywhere else. We read what the brands, their manuals, stores and independent testers publish. We check it against each other and say plainly where the evidence stops.

The short version

We compare microwave air fryer combos by reading product sheets, owner's manuals, store listings and published tests such as Good Housekeeping's. We run no lab tests and give no scores. Where a number comes only from a listing, we say so. We earn a commission through Amazon links. Nobody can buy a placement.

What is on this page

If you spend real money on a countertop appliance, you should know what a recommendation rests on. Here is our method, so you can follow every pick and check it yourself.

What do we read?

In this order:

  1. Brand pages, product sheets and manuals. These settle size, watts, the space it needs, the circuit and the accessory rules. The manuals page lists what we read for each brand.
  2. Published tests. Good Housekeeping's lab tested nine combos, including air-fried wings, and named a best overall. We report what it says and where it stops.
  3. Store listings. They fill gaps. Where a number comes only from a listing, the product box says so.
  4. Patterns in buyer comments. We count something only when it comes up again and again.

What don't we do?

  • No lab tests, no scores. We haven't measured combos or cooked in them for this site.
  • No paid placements. Nobody can buy a recommendation.
  • No invented stories. No made-up quotes, routines or measurements. Numbers we worked out ourselves are labeled "computed."
  • No prices or star ratings. Prices move too fast, so we use words.
  • No fake urgency. No countdowns, no pressure, no invented discounts.

How do we handle the numbers?

We give the outer size and where it came from, because fit decides this purchase. We show space-around-it rules only as a manual writes them, model by model. For microwave watts we use output, not input and not the air fry rating. A 1700 W number in a listing is often not microwave power. We call something a true microwave only if it has the part that makes microwaves. Several lookalikes don't.

We name one main product for each kind of kitchen: best overall, small kitchen, family size. Other models appear only when they differ in a way you can name.

Where does the evidence run out?

Some answers don't exist yet, and we say so. We found no controlled head-to-head test of a combo against a basket air fryer. We also can't say whether Amazon's GE 4-in-1 listing matches GE's discontinued JES1109RRSS, because the listing's model number is different. The best combos page marks these gaps instead of filling them. New here? Start with the basics.

How does the site earn money?

Through affiliate links to Amazon. If you buy through one, we get a small commission and your price stays the same. Links carry an asterisk and the label "Ad". Details are in the affiliate disclosure.

Quick questions

Do you test these microwaves yourselves?

No. We have not measured any combo or cooked in one for this site. Our picks rest on brand specs, manuals, store data and tests published by others. That is why we call our pages a comparison and give no scores.

Do brands pay for a good placement?

No. No brand and no store can buy a recommendation here. We earn a small commission through affiliate links when you buy through one. The commission has no say in what we recommend.

Why do you not show prices or Amazon star ratings?

Amazon prices change often, so a number here would soon be wrong. We use words instead: budget, mid-range and premium. We also leave out star ratings and review counts, because some combo listings share them with other products.
