Microwave Air Fryer Brands: Who Sells a True Combo, and Where
Plenty of brands sell a true microwave air fryer, but not all on Amazon, and not all still make the model you saw. Start with Toshiba or Sharp. Cuisinart's AMW-90 microwave air fryer is marked discontinued on Cuisinart's own site. Galanz sells mainly at Walmart, and we couldn't confirm a Calphalon model from the brand.

The short version
Start with Toshiba or Sharp, whose sizes come from their own pages and sheets. Panasonic and Breville add a manual we read, at a premium. Cuisinart lists its AMW-90 as discontinued, and Frigidaire's countertop combo has conflicting specs on retailer pages. Calphalon and Hamilton Beach models appear on retailer listings, but we found no brand page, so check the model number before you buy.
A true combo can microwave as well as air fry. Many brands sell air fryer ovens that look similar and can't microwave, so see what is not a microwave first. This page covers brands where we found a real microwave with air fry.

Where are our brand pages?
These go through one brand at a time. Many of these brands sell mainly through retailers and dealers, so our where to buy guide compares the stores.
- Ninja Crispi MicrowaveChoose the MW101 if you want a flat tray, a glass basket and air frying in one box, and you have room above it. At about 14.1 in tall as listed, it is the tallest countertop body in our comparison, and the UK edition of its owner's guide describes 24 in from worktop to cabinets. Short on headroom? Start with a lower model.
- Panasonic HomeChefGood if you have headroom and want a well-documented combo with a broiler. It has a 1000 W inverter microwave and 1.2 cu ft, and it is 13.5 in tall. The sister model's manual asks for 6 in on top, 19.5 in in total (computed), plus its own 15 A or 20 A circuit. Under a low cabinet, check your manual and never block the vents.
- Toshiba combosTwo Toshiba combos have brand data we could read. Buy the ML2-EC10SA for most kitchens: 1.0 cu ft, 1000 W and only 11.8 in tall. Buy the ML-EC42P for a big family: 1.5 cu ft and a 13.6 in turntable, but 21.38 in deep. OptiChef and MASTER models carry listing data only, so check their pages before you buy.
- GalanzThe Galanz Air Fry Microwave (GSWWD09S1A09A) is a real 3-in-1 microwave, air fryer and convection oven at 0.9 cu ft and 900 W. We found it mainly at Walmart. For the same size on Amazon, buy the Sharp SMC0985KS, with a size Sharp confirms. We couldn't open Galanz's own product page or manual, so its clock steps and parts lists stay open.
- GE combosBuy the GE GCST10A1 for the counter: 1.0 cu ft and 1,050 W, says GE, with a crispy pan and tall rack for air fry. GE says the older JES1109RRSS is no longer made, so don't read its specs as the current model's. Take the GE Profile PVM9179 only to replace an over-the-range unit, after checking stock with a dealer, since GE says the PVM9179SRSS is no longer made.
- LGLG's main microwave air fryer is the MHEC1737F or D, a 1.7 cu ft over-the-range unit with a 950 W microwave, says LG. It replaces a range hood, so it needs installing. We found no LG countertop model with air fry on LG's US pages. For the counter, start with the Toshiba ML2-EC10SA.
- BLACK+DECKER combosThe ES9P032NA 5-in-1 is a budget countertop combo: 0.9 cu ft, 900 W and listed at 19.5 × 14.5 × 11.4 in. The EC942K6CE-SS is a fixed over-the-range unit. We couldn't read a brand page for either, so confirm the size first. For a small kitchen with brand data behind it, buy the Sharp SMC0985KS instead.
- SamsungSamsung's microwave air fryers are the over-the-range ME90H1780R, at 1.7 cu ft and 950 W per its manual, and the countertop MC12DB8700CK at 1.2 cu ft. Samsung's page showed the countertop model as not available for delivery or pickup. Our Amazon research found neither, so buy from a dealer, or look at the Toshiba ML2-EC10SA for a counter.
- VissaniThe Vissani EC042A2KJ microwaves and air fries, so it is a true combo. Its guide lists 1000 W output, 1500 W microwave input and 1750 W convection input, with air fry at 350 to 425°F on the grill tray. We could not open any store page for it. On Amazon, we recommend the 1.5 cu ft Toshiba ML-EC42P instead.
- WhirlpoolThe Whirlpool WMH78519LZ is a 1.9 cu ft over-the-range microwave with Air Fry mode, listed by a dealer at 1200 W and 400 CFM. It uses a folding air fry basket on the turntable. Whirlpool suggests 400°F for fresh vegetables, 425°F for fresh meat and 450°F for frozen food. It needs installing, so ask a dealer.
- KitchenAidKitchenAid's air fry microwaves are mostly over-the-range units. Dealers list the KMHC319 at 1.9 cu ft and 1200 W, and the KMMF730 at 1.1 cu ft and 950 W. Both come with a basket, per those dealers. They need installing, so ask a dealer. For a counter, we recommend the Panasonic HomeChef instead.
- PowerXLCheck the model number first. The BDK02 has 1 cu ft and a 1000 W microwave, and the Smart BDK04 has 0.9 cu ft and 900 W. Both manuals ask for 12 in above the unit. The 1-year replacement guarantee in the BDK02 manual covers only the original buyer from an authorized retailer. For a current option, we recommend the Toshiba ML2-EC10SA.
- Breville Combi WaveWorth a look if you will really use the air fryer, convection oven and inverter microwave, and you have open counter. Microwave output is 1100 W per the manual excerpts, not 1700 W. It is 20.1 in deep, says Breville, and Breville's current book asks for 12 in above it and 8 in beside it, which rules out many spots under cabinets. Check your manual and never block the vents.
What should I know about the brands people search for?
Cuisinart. Cuisinart's page for the 3-in-1 Microwave Air Fryer Plus (AMW-90) calls it discontinued. Its details are still useful: 0.9 cu ft, a 900 W microwave, 1500 W for air fry and oven, and a stainless basket and drip pan. Its manual gives 20.57 × 17.91 × 11.82 in. Cuisinart also rates it for 3 lb of air-fried food, a figure few pages give. Target lists a newer 1.2 cu ft model, about 20.43 × 18.81 × 12.4 in, and a brand reply there names it EC034AL7-S1. We read no brand page for it. Answers on that page conflict about the basket and convection, so ask before you order.
Frigidaire. Target's page for the 3-in-1 lists 20.31 × 16.42 × 12.01 in, with 900 W microwave output in a Q&A answer. Its specs say 1.2 cu ft, but the description says 1.1 cu ft. A Frigidaire EMW1220AMZ appears in our size guide. Our price lookup returned nothing for that listing, so we don't offer it as an option here.
Sharp. Sharp has a detailed sheet for the SMC0985KS: inside size, outside size and the included basket and pan. Its power source reads 120 V, 20 A, so check your circuit and the manual before you plug it in.
Furrion. Furrion is an RV brand. Its 0.9 cu ft built-in FMAM09AC-BL states air frying, a 900 W microwave and 1450 W convection. Its 1.5 cu ft over-the-range unit is sold as a convection microwave, and the excerpt of Furrion's page we saw mentions no air fry. Don't assume every Furrion model has it.
West Bend. West Bend's page shows a 1.3 cu ft 3-in-1 with air fry, convection and a 12-month limited warranty. The 1000 W and outside size come from the Amazon listing*, not West Bend, so check them there.
Calphalon and Hamilton Beach. We couldn't confirm either from the brand. We saw a Calphalon 1.3 cu ft listing marked sold out, and Hamilton Beach Professional 1.3 cu ft listings at retailers, but we couldn't open them in full. Both brands also sell air fryer toaster ovens that can't microwave, so read the title closely.
Which brand documents its products best?
Brand data matters because many listings disagree with each other. Good paperwork doesn't mean better food, and we found no controlled comparison across brands. It does mean you can check the fit before the box arrives. Sharp and Toshiba publish outside sizes. Panasonic's and Breville's manuals spell out the space they need around them. Toshiba's ML2-EC10SA* is our overall pick, and our best combos explains why.
Warranty terms differ and change, so read them on the listing or in your model's manual. Sharp's sheet says 1 year of parts and labor, plus 4 more years on the part that does the microwaving, parts only. West Bend says a 12-month limited warranty. Replacement baskets and racks are model-specific, so have the full model number ready.
What should I do next?
Measure first. Our size guide and clearance guide matter more than the logo. For the basics, start with what a microwave air fryer combo is.
Quick questions
Does Cuisinart make a microwave air fryer?
Yes, but check which one. Cuisinart's own page labels the 0.9 cu ft 3-in-1 AMW-90 as discontinued. Target lists a 1.2 cu ft Cuisinart microwave with air fryer, and a brand reply there names it EC034AL7-S1. Replies on that page disagree about whether it has a basket or convection, so confirm both with the seller.
Does Frigidaire make a microwave air fryer?
Yes. Target lists a Frigidaire 3-in-1 countertop microwave with air fry and convection, 20.31 × 16.42 × 12.01 in. The listing shows 1.2 cu ft in its specs and 1.1 cu ft in its description. Frigidaire Professional also sells an over-the-range unit with air fry. We found no frigidaire.com page for the countertop model, so check the model number.
Is Sharp a good microwave air fryer brand?
We can't grade a brand, but Sharp's paperwork is strong. Its product sheet for the SMC0985KS gives the outside size, inside size, watts and accessories, plus a 1-year limited warranty with extra cover on the part that does the microwaving. That is why it is our pick for small kitchens. At 0.9 cu ft it won't suit bigger trays.
Do Calphalon and Hamilton Beach make microwave air fryers?
Retailer pages suggest so, but we couldn't confirm it from the brands. We saw a Calphalon 1.3 cu ft listing marked sold out and Hamilton Beach Professional listings at 1.3 cu ft, only as search excerpts. The Hamilton Beach air fryer pages we saw list air fryers and toaster ovens only. Check the model number and return terms before you buy.
