Buying guide
Where to Buy a Microwave Air Fryer Combo: Which Store for Which Kind
It depends on the type. For countertop combos, Amazon has the widest choice we could check, and our pick there is the Toshiba ML2-EC10SA. Galanz's 0.9 cu ft model shows up mainly at Walmart. For over-the-range and built-in models, a dealer is often the better place to buy. Amazon links here earn us a commission, so weigh that.

The short version
Buy a countertop combo where you can match the exact model number and return it easily. Amazon has the widest selection we could check, and our pick there is the Toshiba ML2-EC10SA. Galanz's 0.9 cu ft model shows up mainly at Walmart. For over-the-range or built-in units, try Home Depot, Lowe's or a local dealer, since installation counts too.

We earn a commission on Amazon links, and not on the other stores here. You should know that upfront. We still say where another store is the better fit, and for a good part of this market it is. Still working out what you want? Start with our guide to combos.

What shows up at each store?
We checked search results and store pages on 2 November 2026. Results move daily, so use this as a guide to where to look, not a stock report.
| Store | What shows up | Best for | What we couldn't check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon | Countertop combos from Toshiba, Ninja, Panasonic, Breville, GE, BLACK+DECKER and others | Comparing many countertop models | Its return page didn't load for us |
| Walmart | Galanz 0.9 cu ft, mainly | Galanz shoppers | The page asked for a human check, so no listing or returns |
| Target | Ninja Crispi Microwave in search results; Frigidaire 3-in-1 page | A few countertop models | Whether stock matches your store |
| Home Depot | Over-the-range and wall oven combos in search results; Good Housekeeping links it for GE | Fixed installs, some countertop models | Its returns page refused our request |
| Lowe's | Built-in models in search results; Good Housekeeping links it for KitchenAid | Fixed installs | Its returns page refused our request |
| Best Buy | Showed up for small combos | Browsing in store | The pages we opened showed only a country selector |
| Costco | A microwave page that names brands, with no air fry model listed | Worth a look if you are a member | Stock online or in the warehouse |
| Appliance dealers | Fill the results for over-the-range models; P.C. Richard also appears for countertop | Installation and advice | Prices and stock vary by dealer |
| Brand shops | SharkNinja.com for Ninja; Sharp's shop for the SMC0985KS | Getting the exact model | Terms vary |
Should I buy over-the-range from a dealer?
Often, yes, even though it earns us nothing. Retailers fill the results for over-the-range models, and many people buy those at Home Depot, Lowe's or specialist dealers. These units are fixed in place, and installing one can involve wiring and venting, so a store that can quote the job has an edge. Good Housekeeping also says built-in combos need professional installation. See our guides to over-the-range models and built-in models before you order.
How do the models compare?
These are the countertop models we can back with a brand's document. Listing data can differ between stores, so compare the model number as well as the size.

Two more listings come up a lot, but we only have seller data for them, so they are options to check, not picks. The BLACK+DECKER ES9P032NA* is a compact 0.9 cu ft model in the budget class, as listed. The GE 4-in-1 in black* is listed as the GCST10A1WBB. Our brand overview shows where other brands sell.
What should I check before I pay?
The exact model number. This is the mistake most worth avoiding, because similar names hide different machines.
| What you see | What to check |
|---|---|
| Ninja Crispi | Only the MW101 is a microwave. FN101 and AS101 are glass air fryers that can't microwave. See does the Ninja Crispi have a microwave? |
| Panasonic HomeChef | The Amazon listing is the NN-CV87QS. The manual we read is for the sister model NN-CD87, so confirm details for your number |
| GE 4-in-1 | Look for GCST10A1. GE says the older JES1109RRSS is no longer made, so its data doesn't carry over |
| Toshiba | Many similar models, and one is sold as Renewed, so read the full title |
| Air fryer ovens | Some can't microwave at all. See what is not a microwave |
The seller. On a marketplace page, see who actually sells and ships the unit. A guarantee can depend on this. PowerXL's manual, for example, ties its replacement guarantee to an authorized retailer and the original purchaser, as our PowerXL page explains. Read the warranty terms in your model's manual, and ask the seller if they are unclear.
The returns. A combo is heavy, and it may not fit. Read the return terms before you pay, because they can vary by item within a store. Target's page for the Frigidaire 3-in-1 says that item must go back within 90 days, while its returns help page gives 30 days for electronics and entertainment items. Read the terms on your product's page. We couldn't read the return pages at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot or Lowe's, so we don't quote them.
The fit. Measure before you click. Our size guide shows how, and our clearance guide has the numbers we could read. Panasonic's sister-model manual asks for 6 in on top, Breville's current book asks for at least 12 in, and GE's manual recommends 3 in. Under a low cabinet, that can decide the purchase.
Prices and sales. We show no prices, because they change too often to be useful here. If you shop a sale, compare the same model number across stores, and add delivery and any installation.
What mistakes should I avoid?
- Assuming all results are countertop. Searches at Home Depot and Lowe's often bring up fixed installs.
- Trusting the title alone. Check size, watts and model number against the brand's page where you can.
- Buying before measuring. Depth and top space rule out more models than brand does.
- Ignoring the circuit. Panasonic's sister-model manual asks for its own circuit, so check your manual before you order.
Which combo is yours?
Question 1
Where will it go?
This decides how you buy.
What should I do next?
For a countertop combo, start on Amazon with the Toshiba ML2-EC10SA. The selection is wide and the brand's data is easy to compare. Want a Galanz? Look at Walmart. For anything fixed in place, talk to a dealer or big-box store that can quote the job. Our best combos can help you narrow down the model first.
Quick questions
Does Walmart sell microwave air fryer combos?
Yes, as far as we can tell from search results. The Galanz 0.9 cu ft Air Fry Microwave shows up mainly there, with no such listing in our Amazon results. Walmart's page asked us for a human check, so we couldn't read the listing or its return terms. Check the model number and the seller.
Does Costco sell a microwave air fryer combo?
We couldn't confirm one. The Costco microwave page we read names brands and mentions convection models, but lists no air fry model. Stock can differ online and in the warehouse, so look yourself. If you find one, check the model number against the brand's page and compare the outside size with your counter.
Are combos cheaper at Home Depot or Lowe's?
We don't compare prices, because they change often. In our checks, the same Toshiba listing changed price from one day to the next. Compare the exact same model number across stores on the day you buy, along with delivery and returns. Those can matter more than a small price gap.
When do combos go on sale?
We have no reliable record of store sale dates, so we won't guess. In our keyword data, searches for this appliance peaked in November and were lowest in May and June. That tells you about demand, not discounts. If you see a sale, check that the model number is the one you want.
Can I buy directly from the brand?
Often, yes. Ninja's release says the Crispi Microwave is sold online at SharkNinja.com. Sharp's own shop shows the SMC0985KS, and it showed in stock when we read it. Buying from the brand makes the model number easy to confirm. Compare delivery and return terms with a store's before you decide.
